Strike up another one for Joe…Liberty Market is NOW OPEN in Gilbert, AZ

By Jarod DeAnda, October 27, 2008

I live in a somewhat suburbia town, Gilbert, AZ what was once sprinkled with dairy farms, crops and ranches is now covered with thousands of homes…
To find style, personality, uniqueness and character amongst the stucco and strip malls is sometimes difficult but one man by the name of Joe Johnston and his family/team have created uniqueness yet again…
Like they say in Field of Dreams, “if you build it, they will come” and Joe seems to, regardless if he lives by that term or not, built and they have not only visited but LOVED including my family, friends and I.

Joe’s newest venture, almost 2 weeks old now LIBERTY MARKET has the history essence, building materials and even soul yet with the freshened facade and finishing touches… Everything Joe touches has style from his Brixton hat to the selections on furniture, beverage dispensers even the bathrooms have personality…

This is Joe’s 3rd restaurant in Gilbert and I’ve eaten and enjoyed all 3 now, his other 2 I’ve blogged about before so I’ll fill you in on more or you can check them out by clicking here…

JOE’S FARM GRILL which was featured on the tv show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on Food Network and his BBQ spot Joe’s REAL BBQ which is caddy corner to Liberty Market…

Great job Joe, congrats to yourself, your wife Cindy and your whole family and I say family as in employees, staff and partners and of course literal family..

Check it out…

Photobucket

This is “the man” himself Joe…
rocking the Brixton Hat, only if they made size 8 I would rock one…
Photobucket

These are Joe’s beers he chose, only thing he’s missing is some ROGUE Ales, well a few others too but we’ll talk Joe…
Photobucket

And of course the food, duh…
Fresh ingredients, fresh taste not too busy and just solid…
I caught the “PICNIC” sandwich with the Caprese pasta salad, fresh!
Didn’t think I’d like the caramelized pecans but added good taste…
Roasted turkey, carmelized pecans, green apple, gorgonzola, mixed greens, roasted red pepper aioli

Photobucket

Parker loved it of course…

Here’s more on Joe and Liberty Market via AZCENTRAL.COM...
