Over the last 5 years Jarod has been the announcer for the professional drift racing series called Formula D. He is the only announcer and voice the fans hear from start to finish at all of the Formula Drift events across the nation. On average Jarod reaches 7,000 paid spectators per event at 7-9 events annually. He also co-hosts the Formula Drift TV show which has been regularly seen by hundreds of thousands of viewers on G4, Speed Channel, and ESPN 2.
Jarod’s popularity does not end there, if you’ve played one of EA Games recent video games Need for Speed, Pro Street then you’ve been introduced to the initial host of the game Big J, which Jarod provided the voice over for in 2007. Also in 2007 Jarod was asked to participate as a blogger on Fatlace.com and it has grown to be one of the most successful blogs on the site.
